Following directly on from the end of Wind Waker, Link and Tetra are sailing the seas looking for new lands outside of the flooded Hyrule. As they enter a patch of dense fog, they discover an abandonded ship, which Tetra decides to investigate. Whilst there, Tetra falls into trouble, and when Link tries to save her, ends up in the ocean. Link awakens on a mysterious island, and sets out to save Tetra, using the mysterious Phantom Hourglass so he can delve deeper into the ultimate dungeon... Phantom Hourglass is entirely stylus controlled, and is also the first Zelda game ever to feature Wi-Fi play.
